To get the Day to change, you must move across "screens" until the Icon on the lower-left corresponds to what day you want. The combination of Seeds that you give him, as well as the DAY on which you give him the Seeds affects the Produce that you get. Planting Seeds ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Once you have at least TWO Seeds, talk to Trent in the Hot House Orchard and he'll tell you to choose two seeds. For information on which Monsters drop which seeds, please refer to Chapter 3. However, those are in limited supply, so your best bet is to defeat Monsters in hopes that they will drop Chests that contain Seeds. Chests in Dungeons/Towns may contain Seeds. There are essentially two ways to get Seeds. Gathering Seeds ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chances are you'll have Seeds even before you first enter a Hot House. I would recommend using the one in Mushboom Forest, however, since it's right next to a Town and an Armory. Mana Sanctuary I will not give the exact locations because they're all easy to find. There are SIX locations where there are Pots for placing a Hot House: 1. Once inside, head up and go through the door on the right and you'll be in the Orchard. You'll be asked if you want to build a Hot House.

Once you have Cactus Essence, approach a Pot and press A. You're pretty much forced to buy Cactus Essence, so don't be worried that you may miss out on it- just play the game as usual and you'll receive it eventually. You'll first get access to the Hot House soon after you emerge from Batmo Cave early in the game. Seeds and Produce for Dummies (An Introductory Guide) _ Getting Started ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In order to plant Seeds and harvest Produce, you must go to the Hot House Orchard. This guide will take you through all of the ins and outs of gathering Seeds and harvesting Produce. Thus, if you want your Weapons and Armor to be as strong as possible you'll need to spend plenty of time at the Hot House Orcard. Instead, Produce are used only for tempering Weapons and Armor. Since Golems and Pets don't exist in Sword of Mana, gone are Produce's important functions of increasing a Pet's stats or, umm. First introduced in Legend of Mana, Fruits and Vegetables (Produce have a bit more limited role in Sword of Mana. If you haven't guessed it yet, this FAQ deals solely with Seeds and Produce.
